Cystic Fibrosis Australia
Creating more inclusive healthcare environments
Felicity Creagh was invited to present at a Cystic Fibrosis Australia conference in Geelong. Her presentations explored how healthcare environments can become more inclusive and how better outcomes occur when patients feel safe, respected and actively involved in their care. The sessions brought together health professionals and people with lived experience, encouraging practical conversations about inclusion, communication and patient-centred care. The focus was on identifying barriers that can unintentionally exclude neurodivergent and vulnerable patients, while providing realistic strategies that clinicians can implement immediately in their practice.
Felicity's presentation combined professional expertise with practical insight. Attendees left with ideas they could immediately apply to create more inclusive care experiences

Playgroup WA
Supporting inclusion through community education
Felicity Creagh was invited to speak at the launch of Playgroup WA’s “Inclusive Play, Everyday” resources. Drawing on both professional and lived experience, she shared insights into inclusion, neurodiversity and the importance of creating welcoming environments for children and families. The presentation helped build awareness among community leaders, parents and service providers while reinforcing the message that inclusion benefits everyone. Through storytelling and practical examples, participants gained a better understanding of how small changes can have a significant impact on participation and belonging.
Felicity communicated complex ideas in a way that was relatable, practical and inspiring. Her message resonated strongly with both professionals and families.

Advocates in Action
Bringing people together to influence change
Working alongside Dr Stephan Lund, Felicity Creagh co-hosted the community event Advocates in Action: Social Workers in Politics at The University of Western Australia. The event brought together social workers, policy leaders, students and community members to explore how advocacy can influence public policy and create positive change. By facilitating discussion between professionals and community stakeholders, the event encouraged greater engagement with issues relating to inclusion, social justice and representation. It demonstrated the value of bringing diverse voices together to consider practical solutions to complex social challenges.
Felicity created an engaging and welcoming environment that encouraged meaningful discussion and inspired attendees to think differently about advocacy and leadership.
